First stage of a new brand identity for furniture & homewares accessories designer Neb Abbott (DNA).
This first collection is born out of Neb Abbott’s 2 years in the furniture industry (and recent time spent in his Prestwich-based workshop).
It brings together a passion for simplified & stylistic forms, using the precision of modern machine production, with hand assembled & finished components.
Focusing on the underlying grids used in the designs, and also drawing reference from a bespoke workbench Neb uses for assembly of each piece — the identity represents the background solo effort from concept through to finish.
For self promotion, a series of A6 postcards with 5 alternative reverse designs were produced — Riso printed on a 300gsm recycled stock. Each of the designs show the CNC flat profiles of a sample of the items available from his new residency at Altrincham Market every weekend.
