If you're planning on getting married once, then the invites had better be ones to remember. (However, designing two bespoke typefaces for it is probably going one step too far).
The brief: to ensure that all 150 guests were informed about every detail leading up to the event, so that there were no annoying questions leading up to the big day, as preparations leading up to the event were going to be time consuming & stressful.
Total number of questions received: 0 (zero)!
Pictured are the Gold Riso-printed (by Jake @ Fred Aldous, MCR) and hand finished (by ADX) invites and personalised envelopes, using GF Smith Colorplan Imperial Blue and Pale Grey stock.
The embossed emblem uses a bespoke unreleased typeface: ADX Ceremony. The headings uses ADX Shadymoor — built from scratch, but draws inspiration from the rare but beautiful Schmalfette Grotesk.
